With the transition to ATSC 3.0, many engineers are concerned that they must give up important checks and services because of the newer technology. This is not the case. During this presentation, Actus will share how engineers can still do all their required compliance checking (video, audio, and metadata) along with keeping recordings (for proof), making clips (for verification), and even doing advanced analysis such as searching for ads, integrating ratings, and performing AI-based research. Yes, ATSC 3.0 is a more complicated and comprehensive format; but with the right tools, today’s engineers can continue doing what’s necessary and required.
